Taking cues from background music in TV and film, UR K was pieced together out of iPhone recordings and half-cut edits in summer 2022. Road-tested in parks and ropey cars, it occupies a space between romantic string compositions and fuzzed out noise.

Sometimes stoned and beautifully slow, UR K is also a document to a fast paced editing process, an exhibition of an artist inhabiting the “fertile new ground between the outer reaches of ambient composition and experimental pop” (The Quietus, 2019).

jb glazer
The music of jb glazer is uncomfortable and comforting, live and pre-packaged. Drifting between noise and pop, it is a project that makes music out of other things.

jb glazer has released on Curl and Them There Records, in addition to a string of self-released projects, most recently February’s Everything Is Heavy Rain. He has previously co-hosted a show on NTS and collaborated with Bianca Scout, Elena Isolini, and Violence Grass Band.

jb glazer enjoys an extensive working relationship with Forensic Architecture and is currently composing the score for a ballet.
